The Windows Storage 1625 Network Attached Storage Server (NAS) has a total capacity of 16 terabytes and offers scalability and reliability in one 3RU rack mountable package.
Windows Storage 1625 is a server based on Windows Server™ 2003 R2 that is designed for dependability, seamless integration, and best value in networked storage. Windows Storage 1625 includes advanced availability features such as point-in-time data copies, replication, and server clustering. Because Windows Storage 1625 solutions are preconfigured, they can be deployed out of the box in minutes, and the Web-based user interface makes management easy. Windows Storage 1625 integrates with existing infrastructures, so enterprises can make full use of commonly-used network environments and standard management software, as well as the Active Directory® service. Preconfigured Windows Storage 1625 solutions are available from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in sizes ranging from a few hundred gigabytes (GBs) to several terabytes.
As a stand alone server, the Windows Storage 1625 houses everything needed to run on its own without any other attachments. It comes fully equipped with a external SCSI connector for tape drives or other storage boxes. The Windows Storage 1625 also has internal space to house an additional drive for your operating system. Rest assured your data is protected with the dual internal 3Ware SATA2 multi-lane RAID controllers which allows for multiple configurations of RAID 0,1,10,5 and 50 volumes. This server also includes a raid expansion utility which allows the user to expand/manage a raid array even after the volume has been created. Fully redundant, the Windows Storage 1625 has a 2+1 power supply system. With its built in railing system, mounting the Teramax is very easy and fits into any standard 19" rack. The Windows Storage 1625 can be shipped with any of the supported OS installed or as a simple bare storage box. As you have come to expect, this product delivers the stability and reliability associated with all Mendax rack mount and pedestal servers.
