The Mendax ShortServ 2044 is a versatile 2U, 18” deep server. Although compact this short depth server can handle more than some of its current counterparts. The 2044 comes complete with, One PCI Express* x 1
One PCI-X 64-bit/133 MHz
Two PCI 32-bit/33 MHz
One Intel® Adaptive Slot supporting PCI Express* x 8 or
PCI-X 64-bit/133 MHz, four rear USB ports and two front USB ports. Internally it houses two serial ATA hard drives, a standard 5.25 CDROM and a standard 3.5 floppy drive. The floppy drive can be swapped out for more USB and more firewire front ports. The 2044 also has Intel Raid storage giving you the capability of Raid 0 and 1 without any additional cards. It has 2x rear Intel pro gigabit controller. The single 5.25 front bay can also be used for a hot swap caddy as an option for a third pull-out hard drive.If you do not see what you are looking for in terms of customization, please give us a call or contact us by email.
